The Three Horseshoes is a picturesque, thriving, thatched country pub. It’s nestled in the quaint, romantic village of Madingley, 3 miles from Cambridge city centre. Voted Cambridgeshire Dining Pub of the Year for 2018 and carrying 2 rosettes, the restaurant serves top notch food, Sunday is a big day with roasts and plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans.
Particular attention has been paid to preserving the traditional country pub with its real ale, fire and cosy corners. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the pub. Enjoy local real ales, cocktails and a wine list focused on the Languedoc-Roussillon. We have a wonderful garden with plenty of space, which includes two pods, and there is lots of parking on site. We have recently added an easy access toilet too.
We are really proud of our General Manager Jamie and her team, and the welcome and service that they give. Our head chef Jack Reid, has built a top kitchen brigade and we are incredibly proud of the food we are serving. We hope to see you soon.

Pod Dining
We have two dining pods in our revamped garden. Hire fee includes private use of the fully enclosed dining pod with heating and lights. You will receive the same great table service as if you were inside, with everything being brought to you in a safe and convenient way. They really are fun and well worth the effort to book!

Supporting our community
In September 2018 we launched the Cambscuisine Community Fund (CCF). Across all of our restaurants we've been raising money to support vulnerable people in Cambridgeshire. For every bill over £30, in all of our restaurants, we've been adding a discretionary £1 added to it to support the Fund. We have raised over £185,000 for local charities some of whom we work with outside of this fund.
